FAQ
Common questions
Between 8 and 12 weeks from application to receiving your Verified badge, depending on document readiness and how quickly trial order samples clear customs. We keep applicants updated at each stage.
No listing fee, ever. Shilpok earns an 8–12% commission on each completed order, paid after buyer payment is received. You pay nothing until you earn.
We currently list bamboo, jute, seagrass, coconut shell, wood and natural-fibre homewares and gifting products. We are expanding into ceramics and handloom textiles in 2025. If you produce something outside these categories, apply anyway — we assess each on merit.
The supplier is immediately suspended from receiving new orders and their listing is flagged. Existing in-progress orders are honoured where goods have already passed QC. The supplier has 60 days to remediate before permanent removal.
Not mandatory, but preferred. Our Bangladesh team communicates in Bangla. English capability strengthens your application and is needed for direct buyer correspondence once listed.
Audits are conducted by our in-house QC team with supporting photo and video evidence, stored for 36 months. We share audit summaries on request with verified wholesale buyers. We are working towards third-party co-audit with an accredited Bangladesh-based inspection body in 2025.
